I would not run local competitor analysis with a checklist and no question. Checklists feel productive. They often produce a doc nobody uses.
Start with the search you want to win.
Look at the top three map and organic results
Open their:
- Google Business Profile
- service pages
- pricing hints
- photos
- review themes
- speed on mobile
Note what customers praise and complain about.
Compare offers, not vanity metrics
Do they publish hours clearly?
Do they show team faces?
